[ Navigation | PDF Files | Printing ]
Within the content of the site, the left column will become a navigation bar with buttons to other sections. Links to subsections within the section you are on will also be visible in the navigation bar, allowing you to jump easily from one topic to another.
In some cases, you will also see a "Content" table
toward the right side. This table will detail more subdivisions within any topic.
This design allows you to navigate to any page in the site in as few mouse clicks
as possible, while keeping a logical organization.
Clicking on the "O" at the top left corner of
every page will take you to the site home.
The bottom left corner of every page contains an up arrow to take you back to the very top of the page as well as important links like Search, Credits, this Help page, and the Site Map, which details every page on the site to make it even easier to find what you are looking for.
Some of the files on this Web site are PDF files. Files
in PDF, or Portable Document Format, allows documents to be viewed as
it was originally intended with all the fonts and formatting
regardless of your computer platform. They can also
be easily printed. All you need is the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Your
computer may already have this program. In that case, just save the PDF
file to your hard drive (by doing right click,

Save as...
)
and then opening it up from the hard drive. The free Adobe Acrobat Reader
can be downloaded by clicking the button to the left.
To further faciliate printing the pages on this site for use in the classroom or elsewhere, each page has a corresponding "text/printable version" that strips away the navigation bar and other nonessential graphics. Note the link near the top left corner.
